The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Digital Collections supports teaching and learning in the history, literature, and culture of Chattanooga, the state of Tennessee, and the South, including the institutional memory of the University by providing open access to unique cultural heritage resources.

 

Permissions and Copyright

Whenever possible, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Digital Collections provides free and open access to resources, however, this is not possible in all cases. For each resource available in the repository, you will find one of the following options listed in the Rights field:

Resources in the public domain may be used without restriction, however, you must cite your sources. To use resources under copyright, you must obtain permission from the copyright holder, indicated in the Creator or Publisher field.

Request Copies

All resources in the repository, with the exception of streaming media such as video, are available for download in JPG and PDF formats. All images (JPG) are available at resolutions of 300 PPI (Pixels/Inch) or higher. You may convert files to other formats using photo editing software such as Photoshop (available in the Library's Studio) or online tools like PicMonkey.
